Amposta is a riverside town in the province of Tarragona, located near the Ebro Delta. Known for its agriculture, local cuisine, and access to natural areas, it’s a convenient stop for travelers exploring southern Catalonia.

During our journey, we stayed at the motorhome stopover in Amposta, but only for the day. The parking area is popular and well-equipped, and we were lucky to grab the very last available space. Despite the limited availability, the stopover was very nice, clean, and easy to access, making it a comfortable short stop.

Being able to park there allowed us to walk into town briefly and enjoy the surroundings without worrying about long-term arrangements. The stopover’s layout and facilities make it practical for travelers who want a quick visit, and its central location allows easy access to local streets, shops, and viewpoints along the river.

Even for a short stay, the Amposta motorhome stopover left a positive impression due to its organization, comfort, and convenience, making it a recommended spot for daytime stops in the area.
