Our visit to Wasserbillig was centred on the local aquarium, one of the places we chose to visit while travelling through Luxembourg. We were travelling as a family, with a four-year-old child and our dog, and Wasserbillig became one of the stops along this part of the journey. It was a relatively simple visit compared with some of the longer stops we had made elsewhere, but it gave us another reason to explore the eastern side of Luxembourg rather than simply driving through it. We visited the aquarium and then continued our journey, making Wasserbillig one of those smaller places that became part of the trip because of a particular attraction rather than because we spent a long time exploring the town itself.
